WINDSONG ESTATE WEDDING FORT COLLINS PHOTOGRAPHER
I’ve photographed weddings at Windsong Estate since the very first weekend it opened. Every time I return, I enjoy the modern setting, the wide-open grasslands, the sweeping Front Range views, and the friendly, helpful staff.
SPACE, THE FINAL FRONTIER
Windsong is a photographer’s dream, offering plenty of great spots for photos. The upstairs dressing room, the suspended runway, and the dramatic staircase are perfect for portraits and small group shots. If the weather turns bad, the large indoor ceremony and dance floor can easily fit even the biggest wedding parties. There’s plenty of space for everyone, and I can use longer lenses to create classic, elegant images. This flexibility means we can stick to your timeline, even if it rains or snows, and then head outside for some fun group photos once the weather clears.
TIME OF YOUR LIFE
I really appreciate how the Windsong staff keeps weddings running smoothly and on time. When everyone sticks to the schedule, the day feels less stressful. The coordinators regularly check in with all the vendors to make sure everything is on track. They’re also flexible, letting me take couples outside for a quick photo if the weather suddenly changes. The skies at Windsong can be amazing, and the staff trusts me to capture those moments quickly so we can get back to the celebration.
RAY OF LIGHT
A big venue like Windsong always needs some extra lighting. It’s tough for any space to have perfect light everywhere—on your friends giving speeches, across the dance floor, or outside at sunset. That’s where I come in. I bring a full professional lighting kit to handle dark corners, create beautiful portraits against any sky, and balance out tricky lighting from trees or buildings. Whatever happens, I’m ready to adapt.
WHERE TO BEGIN
Most couples getting married at Windsong Estate use the beautiful dressing rooms there, but you don’t have to. Some couples choose to get ready at another location in Fort Collins, then do their first look at City Park, Old Town, or Horsetooth Reservoir. This gives you a different backdrop for your photos and adds variety to your wedding album. I’ll help you plan a timeline before you arrive at Windsong so you get the images you want.
