An engagement session is like a playful date, with a photographer spying on you — capturing the special spark of your relationship. You will learn to relax while accepting friendly, subtle instruction. When the photos are ready, you’ll also learn how you look in portraits together, and whether your makeup and hairstyle are something you want to repeat — or not — on wedding day.

Depending on the time of the year, your session will look dramatically different. If you’re getting married in the fall, you might choose a spring session for variety, for instance. Just before sunset is the time of day we most recommend. Weekends are generally busy with weddings, so my availability is limited there but most weekdays close to sunset are a great shooting time.

TWO HOURS ON THE FRONT RANGE — $765

You may want me to come to your favorite park, bar or your home, and I’m delighted to work with your special place. But I also have many favorite spots we can suggest for you based on where you live and the look you want — urban, rural, mountains, etc. With two hours, we can be at more than one scene, and have the potential for more than one outfit.
