MOUNT VERNON CANYON CLUB WEDDING | ASHLEY + SCOTT
For this bride & groom, hosting a wedding was an excuse for throwing a huge dance party! Dance party pictures were a priority, so we helped with a timeline that allowed for everyone’s best moves.
Weddings are full of surprises. This day it was llamas. The maid of honor surprised the bride by renting llamas — a tribute to the time they spent with the pack animals during their mission service. Ashley was known to frequently remark, "Someday I'm going to own a llama." So, her BFF rented two for the special day.
Returning to the dance party, we pulled out the lens that gives you that in-your-face attitude. Photographers call it an ultra-wide zoom, and it's killer on a packed dance floor. You can get in close and capture both the dancer and reactions. We pride ourselves in wise use of that lens and just the right kind of rockstar lighting to give the fun kiss to reception photos.

J & C's wedding came a little later in adulthood. Sweethearts since 9th grade, after school they jumped into careers before having a baby girl. Wait, let's get a wedding in there before too much of life gets away from us! Both families had members that had scattered across the country. The day was an excellent family reunion.
