Vail Sonnenalp Wedding Photographer | Kristen + Mike
This destination wedding was filled with family, faith and fellowship. Bride and groom met at church and grew a fondness over years of accomplishing big relief efforts, so managing a family should be easy by comparison. So they say. Kristin and her two daughters had a fun morning getting ready with a balcony overlooking the pool area. While nobody noticed, the clock alarm sounded and it was time to meet Mike in the lobby for the portraits before ceremony. A tear-filled first look ensued, and then it was a ride up the gondola. The girls were a bit frightened up top but some soothing by their new Dad put them at ease. Once back down, the couple’s Texas friends and family assembled at the Vail Interfaith Chapel for a ceremony officiated by the couple’s own pastor from their church back home. After some family formal images taken in evening light, a light and breezy reception was hosted at Vail Sonnenalp. Toast and warm feelings filled the room and the event was my privilege to document.
Cars, Gondolas, Shuttles and Whatever Else You Have
Vail weddings can be a bit of a juggling game of tight timelines, various transportation and shifting priorities. I can help design a sane wedding day timeline that appropriately balances photography with the real events of your day. We can make it as relaxing or as event-filled as you desire.
