Heather + Steve :: Rembrandt Yard Wedding
“It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
Boulder’s Rembrandt Yard was the scene for a wedding ceremony between Fort Collins’ most eligible bachelor and most promising Real Estate agent. Steve was such a sport to roll with the endless jokes, roasts, and jabs about his delay to altar. But hey, Steve’s just picky and knew the best comes to those who wait. Enter, Heather.
Highlights of the day included Ray Tamez’ awesome guitar playing, officiant John Boyd’s original song written for the ceremony, as well as Steve’s dad singing Johnny Cash’s “Ring Of Fire” with the wedding guest all-star band. Too much. All that musical talent in the room played perfectly into DJ Matthew Kays who performs the most amazing beat-mixing I’ve ever heard at a wedding. Seamless!

Kristine + Chris :: Rembrandt Yard Wedding Reception
Maybe it was global warming, or maybe it was the hot romance between these two CU alumni but man, it was a hot wedding. Extreme weather events can derail even the best laid plans, but thankfully K+C had wedding planner Mark Christopher who kept everyone cool, happy and on schedule. The couple’s dog didn’t seem to mind the heat (score one for poodles) and had everyone smiling during the campus ceremony. After a fun photo safari around Boulder (complete with shots at the Walrus), the reception machine awaited as at Rembrandt Yard. Eric Hovey brought the wedding party in with over-the-top introductions — everyone was feeling like a rock star! The dancing went late into the evening, and if you need a break Red Door Photo Booth was downstairs, dubbed informally as the “chill lounge”.
