Rachel & Phillip | Mile High Station Wedding Denver
There are people who see beauty in ways other people don’t. The classic vision of a Colorado wedding is on a Summer day in the Mountains with a dramatic sunset and cool evening breezes. R+P saw there celebration in the opposite way — urban, after sundown, in Winter. A digital career brought Phillip here from France and it was that same career that fatefully allowed the two to meet. He fell in love with her style, she feel in love with his dashing charm (well, the accent didn’t hurt either). This couple’s hipster affair had an international vibe with guests, food and drink from all over the globe.
Mile High Station Wedding Reception :: Denver, Colorado :: Colleen + Matt
Somehow when I think of a school teacher and an accountant getting marred, I envisioned a quiet and small tea + crumpets kind of affair. Hardly the day Colleen and Matt had in mind, which ended in a hugh blow out at Denver’s Mile High Station. First the ceremony, held at Washington Park United Methodist Church, which afforded us some nice group photos just a couple of blocks away at Washington Park.
Then off for a quick one at the Campus Lounge in Bonnie Brae, and our final destination is a reception for 200 at Mile High Station. MC Johnny Cruz cooked up his usual killer mix, included a very subtle but very effective nod to the late Michael Jackson. Planning a Washington Park United Methodist Church wedding?
