The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera hosted a scrumptious destination wedding last weekend. Growing up, Katie and Ben’s families seperately spend a lot of liesure time in Colorado so it was perfect gathering spot for friends & relatives from Chicago, St. Louis & California.

Katie’s a nurse, Ben’s in financing. Don’t let this get out, but they met in a “dive bar”. Her words, not mine.

The couple’s mutual friend Whit performed the ceremony. It was a treat to hear his remarks on marriage in the Autumn sun … “We spend much of our lives searching. We search for goals, for fun, for satisfaction, for art, for work, for validation.
