Thanks so much for spending a few moments to audition my images. I’ve been a Fort Collins Wedding Photographer since 2004. Over the years, I’ve photographed many awesome weddings at Tapestry House, Fort Collins Country Club, Pelican Lakes, Hilton Hotel, Highland Meadows, Marriott Hotel, Lincoln Center, Flowers House, and Drake Centre. Following are a few fun weddings that typify my style of photography …
Fort Collins Wedding Photographer :: Elizabeth & Justin
Two local kids who found each other before too much of their lives got away from them. Fort Collins families, Fort Collins friends, Fort Collins wedding. All those walks through City Park, but who would’ve thought they’d someday get married there? You probably couldn’t have improved on this Summer day ceremony, with live music and kids round around — complete with an escape in little red Corvette. A little fun photo walkabout through Old Town, then we popped upstairs for a party in the Agave Room. MC Johnny Cruz maintained the frenzy at top pace — having fun with the parents playing the hipper side of the 1970’s for dinner. The kitchen smells from the Rio Grande only amplified the sensory teasing. Margs were flowing, though I was uncertain if the “Limit 3” rule was in effect this evening. Even the flowers were drinking (kidding, nod to Lace & Lilies).
Marissa & Joel | Old Town Fort Collins Wedding | Tapestry House Reception
One of Marissa’s school teachers because a close family friend over the years and offered up her secret garden backyard for a Summer wedding ceremony. My entire family gasped at first site of the setting — holy cow. All the glowing natural decor was supplemented by Marissa’s posse (she’s a professional wedding coordinator) and there were fun touches around every turn. A few of the bridesmaids have a lot of event management experience so a very calm & determined air lingered through the getting ready moments. At the appointed hour, everyone knew exactly where to be and the most epic backyard wedding ceremony began.
Tapestry House was waiting for the reception guests to arrive and a brief rain shower in Laporte gave the venue a freshly washed magic. Driving North we stopped along the Overland Trail for that opening “walk among the trees” photo — it just happened.
Marissa got quite a guy in Joel. Warm and gentle with lots of surprised — look at that ceremony dip! We look forward to knowing them for years mixing in the Fort Collins wedding industry and wish them the best in live’s next chapter.
Fort Collins Wedding Photographer :: Mary + Sean
Mary & Sean’s day was big, bold, and full of laughs — two photographers were vital to capture it all. My daughter Helen captured my favorite moments of the day. Mary’s dear friend had a harrowing experience making it to the wedding and didn’t think she’d be there at all. She ran up, as the organ music was playing indoors and the processional had already begun. The walls around her emotion, broke. Then, just seconds later, two cameras with alternate views of Dad walking Mary down the processional. So often we get clients not afraid to hold back emotion and it results in wedding photography that really comes alive.

“Tom is a great photographer, most photos are candid and not posed for that really great natural look. In a 7 hour time frame he took around 3000 pictures and narrowed them down and got them to us within the next two days and they were BEAUTIFUL! Our venue and florist thought so too and are now using them in their advertisements. You barely know he is there but he gets the best shots of the day!” — Fort Collins Bride on WeddingChannel.com
“We hired Tom based on the references from several family members who knew him from other weddings. The service and pictures were fabulous. He arrived early, stayed late and had our photos online quickly. Our disc came just after we came back from our Honeymoon. Awesome!” — Denver Groom on WeddingWire.com
“Tom was absolutely incredible throughout the entire wedding process. Not only is he an incredibly talented and dedicated photographer, but he was also affordable, flexible, and constantly pleasant to work with. Our wedding photos turned out better than we could have dreamed, and I will treasure them for years to come. I am so glad that we hired Tom, and I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend him.” — Taylor W. (bride) on Google+
“Tom was amazing and did a fantastic job! We were a little panicked about the photography – worried we wouldn’t get every picture we wanted, who would we forget, and what would be missed. We even spent a couple of nights making lists of all the pictures we wanted. Then we met with Tom a couple of days before the wedding, and both threw out our lists and breathed a sigh of relief. He put us totally at ease, and took time getting to know us and what we envisioned. Then the day of the wedding came, and he was great. We have large families (divorced parents, remarried parents, etc.) with a lot of personalities and he did an amazing job of rolling with the punches and keeping everyone moving and where they needed to be for the family photos. Then the event started, and I felt like I never saw Tom or his daughter who was also photographing the wedding for us. I was a little bit worried until I realized every time something important happened, I would feel like Tom wasn’t there but then I would catch him out of the corner of my eye snapping away. He was never in the middle of everything, but he didn’t miss anything either. All around a wonderful experience that I am glad we got to share with Tom. The pictures turned out beautifully and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Thanks again Tom!” — Cas S. (groom) on Google+
“Ahh I cant say more positive things about Tom. He had the ability to capture the pure emotion and beauty of our special day! The pictures are breathtaking and look like they are right out of a couture wedding magazine! Tom is also a wonderful artist to work with – he made me laugh, feel natural, and sometimes I hardly noticed he was there. I am still in AWE!” — Ashley S. (bride) on Google+
