erika + brian :: blue lake ranch durango

At some point during the long (and terribly fun) reception, a bride’s maid asked “what do you think makes a great wedding?” It took me just a moment to respond “fun friends, warm family, great music, and MAGIC light!” Erika & Brian ordered up all in big quantities for their super sweet wedding at Blue Lake Ranch, just outside of Durango!

Erika did such an amazing job as her own d-i-y iPod DJ – the guests responded with a huge dance party. I don’t think the Ridgewood Event Center has ever seen such a fun event. Big laughs! Driving home the next day I came upon a movie crew shooting North of Del Norte … had to stop when I saw this old hot rod!
