“Just a few friends & family at the trailhead of our favorite hiking spot” was how Carol described her upcoming ceremony to Brian. Wow, what a spot! What great friends. The guests arrived from afar for the Panorama Point Colorado Wedding, with views of the Continental Divide complete with yellowing Autumn Aspens. It was a brief but touching exchange of vows complete with favorite poems and song lyrics, then down to the famed Briarwood Inn in Golden for a scrumptious brunch reception. The Hoagies offered up a couple of very charming sets of their smooth 1930′s jazz sound and there were several heartfelt toasts among the mimosas. My eye kept coming back to the oh so cool plate their friend Joan made — coolest wedding gift ever. Dig that hand topography!
Several times during the day, I was struck at the surprise Carol & Brian have for each other — as if they lived for years thinking they’d never meet someone who could make them so happy. Let love rule
