She really likes sparkly things, like the red shoes in the Wizard of Oz. Girls like sparkly things like men love power tools, but a little goes a long way. It’s a classy bride who works it in, just a bit. Dig those bridesmaids shoes. Bingo, just the right amount.
Both Ashley & David are active at Southern Gables Church on Wadsworth, so getting a sanctuary full of friends & family to view the ceremony was no problem. The reception at Terrace Gardens Ken Caryl was so big, both sides of the facility was open.Several times throughout the day, I overheard younger parishioners comment about what role models David and Ashley have been. Both are so positive, so engaging, both born leaders.
After a classic morning wedding, an awesome reception breakfast was served by the staff of Panache Catering. Fresh waffles! Thankfully the reception music was great and it got most of the guests on the dancefloor to work off the calories. All the little girls took a turn to dance with the bride, then a giant conga line encircled the double-sized Terrace Gardens.
I’ve always like the idea of a New Years Eve anniversary. It forever give you an excuse to have a blow out on New Years Eve, or if it’s just the two of you, alone, under the covers watching Ryan Seacrest on TV — it will always be special.
